Haiti Blue Pine Forest – Rediscovering a Historic Coffee Origin
Haiti was once one of the world’s leading coffee origins: in 1788, the French colony then known as Saint-Domingue, in what is now Haiti, produced approximately half of the world’s coffee. Today, Haitian coffee rarely takes the spotlight, making it a distinctive discovery.
Grown in the Belle-Anse and Thiotte area, Blue Pine Forest represents this centuries-old coffee heritage. This washed coffee is characterised by notes of cocoa and earth.
Within the Monarch Beans selection, we make room for a lesser-known Caribbean origin — for those drawn to discovering the less familiar corners of the coffee world.
