Return and Refund Policy

Effective from: August 7, 2025

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection law.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you, or a third party named by you (not the carrier), have taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify us clearly (e.g. by email) at hello@monarchbeans.com within the 14-day period. You may use our cancellation form or send us an informal message.

You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

The item must be in the same condition in which you received it

Unworn, unused, with tags attached and in the original packaging

A receipt or proof of purchase is required

3. Return Costs

Unless otherwise agreed, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.
If the product is faulty or incorrectly delivered, we will cover the return costs.

4. Excluded Items (Non-Returnable)

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following:

Goods made to customer specifications or clearly personalized (e.g. custom-branded packaging)

Goods that deteriorate quickly or have a short expiry date

Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if the seal has been broken (e.g. opened coffee packaging)

Digital content not supplied on a physical medium once download has started

Additionally, sale items and gift cards are non-refundable.

5. Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at hello@monarchbeans.com, so we can assess the situation and resolve it as quickly as possible.

6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different product, please initiate a return for the original item and place a new order separately.

7. Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will inform you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved:

A refund will be issued to your original payment method

This will occur within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, but usually within 10 business days

Please note: It may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund

If more than 15 business days have passed since you received your refund approval and you haven’t received the funds, please contact us at hello@monarchbeans.com
